Aiken Junior Woman's Club Hosts an Exciting Night of Fun and Giving at Annual Casino Night Fundraiser

The Aiken Junior Woman’s Club rolled out the red carpet for an unforgettable evening at their Annual Casino Night Fundraiser, raising both the stakes and the spirits of the community in support of the Grants for Hope Scholarship Program. The event, held in the Hydrangea Hall inside the Anne & Cote Campbell Building at Aiken Senior Life Services, saw an enthusiastic crowd of local supporters, all dressed to impress for a night of high-energy casino games, live entertainment, and philanthropic giving.
From blackjack tables to roulette wheels, guests were immersed in a lively atmosphere that blended fun with purpose. The casino-inspired games kept everyone on the edge of their seats while the energy in the room buzzed with anticipation. But it wasn’t just about the winning streaks—each spin and deal helped fund the Grants for Hope Scholarship Program, which benefits graduating, senior girls in Aiken County who are pursuing higher education.
A Night to Remember
"This is our prime event for the year. I love how strangers come together and leave as friends and hopefully community partners." said Arann Hyder, president of the Aiken Junior Woman’s Club. When asked how everyone hears about the event each year Hyder explains "Mainly through word of mouth and the AJWC Social media pages." The Grants for Hope scholarship was created with the goal of providing financial assistance to high-achieving young women who are continuing their education at college. The night’s proceeds will ensure that these students have the support they need to succeed. "It means a lot, this is the biggest fundraiser of the year. getting to raise money for the young women of Aiken." said Lauren Newsom, AJWC Alumni. "I'm having a lot of fun!"
Highlighting the Heroes of the Night
As the chips piled up at the gaming tables, special recognition was given to some of the evening's biggest supporters. Gary Stutts with Holmans USA and Suzzane Hyder with Southeastern, both long-time donors and advocates for girls’ education, " It was amazing, the people, friends and message is everything I love and support." said Returning Guest Niko.
Guests were also treated to a buffet of delicious food through two amazing companies Sweet Tooth's Bakery of Aiken, SC and Joyful Cafe of Windsor, SC as well as an amazing bartender Tipsy with Toya who served delicious drinks, ensuring everyone was well-fueled for a night full of thrills. The event also featured a silent raffle, bring in close to $2000.

With the success of this year’s event, the Aiken Junior Woman’s Club is already planning for next year’s Casino Night, hoping to raise even more funds to continue the incredible work of the Grants for Hope Scholarship Program. "I really enjoy the fact that the community is coming together for all these young girls, bringing a great night for everyone to enjoy themselves and have a great time." says returning guest Craig Hill. As the night came to a close, the Aiken Junior Woman’s Club could proudly say that they had dealt a winning hand not only in their casino games but also in their mission to uplift the future of young women in Aiken County.
